Recovery United Community Center Advisory Council

The Recovery United Community Center (RUCC) works to engage the whole community, fostering a feedback loop for programming and recovery-based events. We are always searching for ways to better serve our recovery community. The Advisory Council gathers input from individuals receiving RUCC Peer Recovery Services, people in recovery, those affected by substance use, substance abuse professionals, along with the broader community, to shape programming and service delivery practices at the RUCC. Methods on the council’s participatory process include annually distributed needs assessments, surveys, and focus groups.

The RUCC Advisory Council is comprised of individuals who are in recovery from substance use disorders or have been affected by a loved one’s addiction. The Advisory Council meets monthly to establish council guidelines. The Advisory Council assists the RUCC to better serve our community and provide the RUCC feedback on programming needs.
