Mindful Movement (Yoga)
Mindful movement is for all individuals interested in learning mindfulness, embodiment, and cultivating peace in recovery. This yoga is safe for everyone including persons who have endured trauma, dissociation, and/or any out of body experiences. The underlying goal is to meet everyone where they are at, and for participants to always feel safe and whole in their body. We will create and facilitate a movement and breath practice that is supportive to each person wherever they are on their recovery journey, and take the time to intentionally connect to our hearts, minds, and community each week through this practice. We do this by understanding of complex trauma, attachment theory, and the neuroscience underpinning the Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga methodology. https://www.traumasensitiveyoga.com
